CityGRID Overview

CityGRID is a modular software system, unique in its design with a relational database management system (RDBMS) at its core.

CityGRID is optimised to work with a huge range of data formats.  Models can be generated from raw survey data (photogammetry, or point-clouds generated from LiDAR or Terrestrial Laser Scanning equipment) or an 'off the shelf' model.  Once in CityGRID, even models downloaded from Google Earth can take advantage of the RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) based approach.

CityGRID is a suite of tools that can be run independently, or for maximum benefit integrated with each other.
