CityGRID Planner

Planner gives city planners and local authorities the tools needed to fully assess projects.  Design concepts or architectural models are shown in direct relation to surrounding buildings.  Visual relations, massings and distances can be checked immediately.  Proposed variations can be incorporated to allow assessment between option and review comparative compliance with building guidelines.  Lighting and landscaping options can be easily simulated.  Renders of significant views or vivid animations can be quickly and easily prepared for presentations.

Project simulation

CityGRID Planner is the ideal tool for exports for optimising construction variants based on a 3D city model.  New buildings can easily be defined in empty lots, given a standard roof shape and constructed to a specified number of storeys.  These parameters can of course be modified interactively to simulate different construction variants.  Each variant can be assessed and rendered flexibly from user-defined camera positions.  Shade simulations help detect any environmental drawbacks.  Different design variants can be shown in detail for architectural contests.  Video sequences with variant comparisons and shade simulation can be generated for the presentation.
