3D Simulation Noise barrier Tauernautobahn, Visualisation Knoten Steinhäusl and Mannswörth A4 Noise barrier

The project entailed the production of an interactive simulation model of a planned noise barrier on the A10 highway in Salzburg, Austria near the village of Zederhaus. The model was created using CityGRID Explorer. Using elevation isolines and orthophotos a texturised terrain model was created. From the 2D construction plans of the noise barrier a 3D model was derived and the building models originated from 2D roof line restitution. In addition project relevant areas were terrestrially laser scanned to obtain a point cloud from vegetation and extract the height of roofs. 3D Digital Base model of Linz

Linz City Council - 2007

The software was used to generate a 3D model of three bridges over the Rive Donau in Linz. This was modelled using photography.

Government of the province of Lower Austria - 2007 / 2008

Met Geo Info undertook two bridge projects with the province of lower Austria spanning a period of two years. The first project involved a 3D model of the historical bridge in Litschau, generated from Terrestrial Laser Scan data which was collected by Met Geo Info staff.

The second project followed the year later which involved a 3D model for a proposed new bridge in Klosterneuburg, including animation and construction sequencing.
