Physical 3D Model of the City Zagreb

Geofoto are utilising CityGRID to model the ancient city of Zagreb, Croatia. The ultimate aim is to produce a physical printed model using the new 3D inkjet technologies from Zcorp. Because CityGRID data is tightly structured the models produced are ‘water proof’ which means that they are particularly suitable for 3D printing. The process of importing them through an optimisation printing software package is simple, especially compared to other products. 

Geofoto are modelling the entire city from their own aerial imagery to a Level of Detail (LoD) 2. All the work is undertaken by Geofoto with minimal support from Met Geo Info.
